Does the bank provide protection against unauthorized purchases?

The customer is protected against fraudulent or unauthorized charge by merchants using a chargeback scheme. The cardholder has up to 120 days to claim a chargeback with written explanation of the issue, amount, date of transaction, and other details as required by the bank. The bank works with the relevant merchant to obtain a resolution to the dispute. Depending on the case and the amount in dispute, the case may take several months to settle.
