Important Notice:

KHQR Services and KHR Account Opening

Dear Valued Customers,

 

CIMB Bank PLC would like to inform all customers of an important update regarding the continued use of the KHQR service through CIMB Mobile Application, as follows:

 

1. To continue using the KHQR service in CIMB Mobile Application, customers are required to maintain both Khmer Riel (KHR) account and US Dollar (USD) account. Customers holding only one type of account (either KHR account or USD account) will no longer be able to continue using the KHQR service from 30th April 2026.

 

From 30th April 2026 until 30th June 2026, customers may continue to use all other services within CIMB Mobile Application — including new accounts opening, account balances inquiries, and various payment transactions — except for the KHQR service.

 

2. Effective from July 2026, for customers who do not yet have the required KHR account, the Bank will temporarily suspend all mobile banking services in your CIMB Mobile Application until the KHR account openings have been successfully completed.  Customers who maintain only a KHR account may continue to use CIMB Mobile Application, except for KHQR service, which requires accounts in dual currencies.
