FAQ

What does the insurance policy cover?

The insurance policy provides indemnity against bodily injury and permanent disablement caused by an accident on the lives of the parents, grandparents, or guardians who hold the JSA accounts. The sum insured is equal to:

  • Single parent/guardian: 2 * the sum of all children’s JSA balances

  • Joint parents/guardians: 1 * the sum of all children’s JSA balances for each parent/guardian

The sum insured is calculated using end-of-day JSA balance(s) on the day of the accident. The policy excludes any sickness, disease or medical disorder, pregnancy, AIDS, suicide, act of terrorism, war, strike, riot, drunk driving, racing and professional sport. Maximum age is 70 years. More details can be obtained from the policy wordings from Forte that is made available to the clients for reference.
